Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Food is absolutely delicious. The woman who runs the spot cooks all by herself and just keeps it running lol expect a non traditional restaurant experience"
"An absolute, unexpected gem! We were thoroughly charmed by this hidden find with seriously delicious food. The 3-course main (beef and potatoes), cheese and dessert costed 23 euros — and it was worth every penny. At first, we were unsure what to expect, but the food was home-cooked fare made with heart. And with seriously the best flan I've ever tasted! The restaurant is run by a husband-wife couple who are hilarious and charming. We left with happy bellies and huge smiles on our faces! Cards aren't accepted, so be sure to bring cash. I highly recommend it and hope to be back one day :)"
"A time capsule with classic French dishes and wine. The atmosphere is no fuss, the food is good, the wine is good, the prices are good. As the French would say: C’est gourmand! Everything you would expect from a classic French bistro."
"Amazing little spot. The restaurant is part of her home and she cooks you dinner 100% from scratch in her own kitchen. It was our best meal we had in Paris. This was the most authentic thing we found. Not a single tourist. (besides us.)"
"A visit to Chez Lucette is not simply a visit to a good Parisian restaurant but a complete dining experience. The unwritten menu consists of a few, select dishes that are prepared fresh, to order, and with the authentic taste of “home cooking”. You should also visit the restaurant for the entertaining conversation with the proprietors (particularly Monsieur Bernhard). You might miss some things if your French is weak but I’m sure you will be made to feel welcome no matter what language you speak. In short, you MUST visit Chez Lucette soon because authentic Parisian restaurants with great food, reasonable prices, and engaging conversation are quickly disappearing. We will certainly be back!"
"a wonderful treasure of a place, enter through the blue restaurant with white lace curtains in the windows here is a heaven space sweet little tables so you can sit close to your friends or love simple and perfect pale pink table cloths and lace doily place mats, after a little aperitif our choices of the day from beautiful chef was chicken, roast beef or chicken livers with potatoes, truly home cooked in her lovely side kitchen this is an incredibly special divine place to eat homey to eat well to feel like love and honey in your belly"
"Lovely experience. Like your grandmother cooking an authentic local food for you. Sweet:)"
"Lovely traditional dinner, simple options butso tasty, still thinking of those fried potatoes! Rose was brilliant, definitely a dinner we will remember! From the Irish table!"
